At the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) National Council meeting held at Bharat Mandapam, the party unveiled its campaign anthem for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Titled ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar,’ the anthem is a multilingual track featuring lyrics in 24 Bharatiya regional languages. The song focuses on the theme of inclusive development championed by the Narendra Modi government across various sectors and regions.
The BJP’s campaign slogan, ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar,’ was initially announced by party national president JP Nadda in January 2024. Since then, party leaders have actively promoted the slogan through various means, including wall paintings across the country under this theme.
Adopting a comprehensive approach, the BJP has launched the digital aspect of the campaign with the release of the title song. Additionally, the party has introduced the ‘Ek baar phirse modi sarkar’ website to further bolster its digital outreach efforts.
During the National Convention’s closing day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed party leaders and supporters, highlighting the government’s achievements over the past decade. He emphasized the administration’s commitment to making courageous and transformative decisions, citing examples such as the construction of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.
PM Modi also underscored the significance of legislative reforms, including the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ aimed at enhancing women’s representation in Parliament and state legislatures. Furthermore, he mentioned landmark decisions such as the enactment of a law against Triple Talaq and the fulfillment of the ‘One Rank, One Pension’ demand.
Reflecting on the BJP’s tenure, PM Modi expressed gratitude towards party workers for witnessing “revolutionary changes” across the country. He emphasized the importance of embracing and celebrating India’s heritage and history, noting that the nation has not only cherished its legacy but also proudly showcased it during the BJP’s governance.
During the convention’s inaugural day, the BJP passed a significant political resolution titled ‘Viksit Bharat,’ highlighting the achievements of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership. The resolution reaffirmed the party’s commitment to returning for a third term and continuing its agenda for comprehensive development and welfare.
