Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched a multi-dimensional disaster management plan and the government produced response forces and formed early warning systems that helped save millions of lives.
‘To build a disaster-free country, PM Modi has adopted a zero-casualty approach in Bharat’s response to the crisis and the disaster response teams now operate as professional forces with the aim of the safety of people’, said Shah.
Home Minister posted on X, “PM @narendramodi Ji introduced a multi-dimensional Disaster Management Plan. Under this vision, the Modi govt raised prompt response forces and developed vigilant early warning systems leading to saving millions of lives”.
‘The powered by the visionary leadership of Narendra Modi, the country today can handle any disaster and due to the government’s ‘Mission Zero Casualty’, even the destructive force of the Cyclone Biparjoy could not take any life.
The cyclone hit Gujarat in June 2023. Amit Shah added, “PM @narendramodi Ji utilized the power of Bharat’s youths to build a disaster-resilient country. The Modi government trained millions in disaster management, which boosted the confidence of our forces and made our societies capable of fighting disasters”.
