‘Delhi Capitals’ co-owner, Parth Jindal, has confirmed that star player Rishabh Pant is making good progress in his recovery from injury. Speaking to ESPNcricinfo, Jindal revealed that Pant is currently involved in batting and running practice, and has also begun his wicketkeeping drills. The franchise is optimistic about Pant’s fitness for the upcoming IPL 2024 season and is hopeful that the 26-year-old will be fully fit by then.

In the first seven games of the season, Pant will be utilized solely as a batter. The decision on whether he will resume wicketkeeping duties will depend on how his body responds to the workload during these initial matches.

His contribution includes a century and 15 half-centuries, showcasing his ability to make significant impacts with the bat.
