In a significant move towards enhancing Bharat’s railway infrastructure, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for over 2000 railway infrastructure projects valued at approximately Rs 41,000 crore. The Gomti Nagar Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh stands as a shining example of this comprehensive redevelopment effort, undertaken at a cost of approximately Rs 385 crore. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as segregated arrival and departure areas, air concourse, food courts, and ample parking space, the station is poised to accommodate future passenger needs efficiently.
In addition to railway projects, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated and dedicated to the nation 1500 road bridges and underpasses across 24 states and Union Territories. With an investment exceeding Rs 21,520 crore, these projects are designed to alleviate congestion, enhance safety, and improve connectivity, further augmenting the efficiency of rail travel.
