Formula 1’s female-only racing championship, F1 Academy, welcomes a new addition to its roster: Charlotte Tilbury. This partnership marks a historic moment, as Charlotte Tilbury becomes the first beauty line and the first female-founded brand to sponsor the sub-league, adding a touch of glamour to the world of motorsport.
In recent years, Formula 1 racing has seen a surge in popularity, with a notable increase in female viewership attributed in part to Netflix’s captivating docuseries, “Drive to Survive.”
Before the inaugural season of F1 Academy in 2023, global attendance at F1 events skyrocketed by 36 percent from 2019, reaching a staggering 5.7 million fans. It was estimated that 40 percent of these fans were female, marking a significant 8 percent increase from 2017.
The exciting partnership between Charlotte Tilbury and F1 Academy came to light through a series of Instagram posts by Lola Lovinfosse, an 18-year-old driver in the academy. Lola revealed her plans to don a Charlotte Tilbury racing suit and helmet while steering a Rodin Motorsport-operated car adorned with the brand’s signature Hot Lips pattern.
The racing suit, helmet, and car will all showcase Charlotte Tilbury’s branding, featuring the beauty line’s iconic night crimson and rose gold colors, along with their empowering mantra, “Makeup Your Destiny!”
Official testing of the Charlotte Tilbury-branded vehicle took place at the prestigious Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia, setting the stage for an electrifying second season of F1 Academy, scheduled to commence in March.

Beyond the racetrack, Charlotte Tilbury aims to align with F1 Academy’s mission of empowerment, striving to “empower everyone, everywhere to feel their most confident.” Throughout the academy season, the brand will shine a spotlight on the fifteen talented young drivers, aged between 16 and 25, inspiring audiences worldwide.
As the academy prepares for exhilarating races across seven dynamic locations, including Middle Eastern cities like Jeddah, Qatar, and Abu Dhabi, anticipation is at an all-time high. Stay tuned as Charlotte Tilbury and F1 Academy redefine the boundaries of possibility, blending speed, style, and self-assurance in a celebration of talent and determination.
