Calcutta HC orders Central agencies to arrest Shahjahan Sheikh to Save Case from Being Diluted

In what comes as a major breakthrough in the ongoing turmoil in Sandeshkhali, the Leader of Opposition in West Bengal, Suvendhu Adhikari, has disclosed of an intel report that absconding TMC leader Sheikh Shahjahan has been taken into police custody, and is being provided with VIP treatment under Mamata Banergee’s regime in Bengal. Meanwhile, in another significant development in the case, numerous villagers residing in Sandeshkhali, who had complained of land grabbing by Shahjahan and his goons, have begun reclaiming their lands, as the Bengal government has apparently initiated the process of returning them.
