The Haryana segment of the Dwarka Expressway will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, March 11, 2024.
The Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has also examined the preparations at the inauguration site, the four-layer trumpet sections, the venue for the public meeting, and the helipad.
Section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed in the area, to avoid any kind of drone activities keeping in mind the safety of the Prime Minister and a traffic advisory has also been issued by the Gurugram Traffic Police, for March 10 and March 11, 2024.
The Gurugram Administration has issued a statement saying that PM Modi will be entering Haryana via road, at the Bajghera Border and here, he will be welcomed by the Haryana CM, Governor Bandaru Dattatreya, and other dignitaries. PM Modi will inaugurate the Dwarka Expressway at Section 84 and then address the public.
Meanwhile On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 15 airport projects, including 12 new terminal buildings, during his visit to Azamgarh, Uttar Pradesh.
“Azamgarh’s star is shining today. There was a time when an event was held in Delhi and (people from) other states used to attend it. Today, the event is being organised in Azamgarh and people from different parts of the country are attending it,” said PM Modi.
The prime minister inaugurated airport projects nationwide, totaling over ₹9,800 crore. ‘Don’t see these developmental projects from electoral spectacles’, said Modi.
He also added that he is running development fast to make Bharat a developed Bharat by 2047. A government statement said, ‘The 12 new terminals will collectively handle 620 lakh passengers annually, and the three new ones, once completed, will increase the combined passenger capacity to 95 lakh per year’.
These terminals feature advanced passenger amenities and sustainable elements like insulated roofing systems, energy-saving canopies, and LED lighting.
He will arrive in Varanasi later around 2:15 pm to distribute the inaugural instalment under the Mahatari Vandana Yojana in Chhattisgarh via video conferencing.
