Nepalese Men Tricked into Joining Russian Army Appeal India for Rescue After Kathmandu’s Ignorance
After the #CBI on Thursday busted a major human trafficking network, uncovering 35 instances of deception of Indians to travel to Russia and warning Indians against joining the #RussianArmy four Nepali citizens have urgently appealed to the Indian government for assistance in their rescue from Russia. Greatly moved by India’s quick action in rescuing nationals stuck in the Russian Army, the Nepalese citizens, seen in the video, alleged that they were deceived into joining the Russian military under false pretenses, adding that the Nepalese government and the Embassy of Nepal in Moscow took no action to ensure their safe return. The Nepalese citizens asserted that they were misled into enlisting as fighters, only to later find themselves in a distressing situation in Russia.
