Russia is all set to solidify President Vladimir Putin's control over the government until at least 2030, as the citizens begin to exercise their adult franchise. It is widely expected that Putin is set to embark on another six-year term, further prolonging his time as the longest-serving Kremlin leader since Josef Stalin. Voting will also be held in regions of Ukraine currently under Russian control and governed by Russian legislation. Meanwhile, Russian citizens residing in Kerala cast their votes for the Russian presidential elections at the booth specifically arranged at the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Thiruvananthapuram.
