In a horrifying incident that has shaken the Badaun district of Uttar Pradesh, two minor Hindu children were brutally murdered on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. The accused perpetrators, identified as Sajid and Javed, allegedly slit the throats of the victims, causing their untimely demise. Additionally, a third child sustained severe injuries to the neck and is currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The atrocity has incited widespread condemnation, with members of Hindu organizations and relatives of the deceased staging protests at the local police station.

Sajid and Javed, who operated a salon in the area, are said to be the prime suspects in the case. However, Javed met his demise in a confrontation with law enforcement following the murders. In response to the escalating situation, a significant deployment of police and paramilitary personnel has been implemented to restore order and ensure the safety of the community.

The tragic incident unfolded in the Civil Lines area of Badaun, where the family of the victims resides. The parents of the children, Vinod and his wife, were not present at home during the attack. Javed allegedly lured the unsuspecting children into a room under the pretense of offering them food, only to commit the gruesome act of violence.

The deceased children have been identified as 14-year-old Ayush and 6-year-old Honey. While Javed attempted to harm a third child, he managed to escape and seek help, leading to the intervention of authorities and the subsequent apprehension of Javed.

Amidst the public outcry, reports indicate that the salon owned by Javed became a target of vandalism by enraged citizens. With tensions running high, paramilitary forces have been deployed to quell any potential disturbances and maintain law and order in the community. The search for Sajid, the remaining suspect, continues as authorities work diligently to ensure justice for the victims and their grieving families.
