On March 28, 2005, a massive earthquake occurred in Indonesia, in which more than 1300 people died. This Indonesia earthquake was the world's fourth largest earthquake since 1965 and the world's eleventh largest earthquake overall. Its intensity was measured at 8.6 on the Richter scale. At the same time, 3 months before this earthquake, i.e. on December 26, 2004, an earthquake of 9.1 magnitude had occurred on the island of Sumatra. This earthquake had caused massive devastation. Experts believe that Indonesia is very sensitive in view of earthquake. Here, from 1901 to 2019, there have been more than 150 earthquakes with intensity greater than 7. Apart from this, there are many active volcanoes in Indonesia. Due to this also there is danger.
