Israel Passes Law to Ban Al Jazeera for Compromising National Security, Supporting Hamas | Ritam
Taking stringent actions against the “terrorist promoting channel”, Israel on Monday passed the law banning Al Jazeera, for spreading incitement against the Israeli military. Israel reprimanded the Qatar-funded media outlet for participating in the October 7 attacks led by Hamas terrorists and harming the national security of Israel. According to the proposed law, the channel will shut down for 45 days, after which it can be renewed whenever deemed necessary. Interestingly, Israel isn’t the first country to ban Al-Jazeera as previously, few other nations have already imposed sanctions on it.
