A significant development has emerged in the case of the stolen car belonging to the wife of BJP President JP Nadda. The Fortuner vehicle, which was reported missing from Delhi’s Govindpuri area on the night of March 18, has been successfully located in Varanasi. The recovery of the vehicle comes after an extensive investigation by the authorities.

Arrests Made in Connection to the Theft

Police have apprehended two individuals suspected to be involved in the theft of the car. The arrested persons have been identified as Shahid and Shivang Tripathi, residents of Badkhal near Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh. Investigations are ongoing to determine their roles and involvement in the theft.

Details of the Theft and Subsequent Actions

According to the police, the accused utilized a Creta car to travel from their location to Delhi with the intention of stealing Nadda’s vehicle. Upon successfully stealing the car, they initially transported it to Badkhal, where they altered its number plates to evade detection. Their plan was to eventually send the stolen vehicle to Nagaland. The journey of the car included stops at various locations, including Aligarh, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Sitapur, Lucknow, before reaching Varanasi.

Chronology of Events and Police Response

The theft of Mallika Nadda’s car occurred when it was taken to a service center in Govindpuri, Delhi. It was during this time that the vehicle was allegedly stolen. Prompt action was taken following the discovery of the theft, with the car’s driver filing a complaint on March 19. Subsequently, the police initiated an investigation and registered a case to locate and retrieve the stolen vehicle.

With the recovery of the stolen car in Varanasi and the arrest of the two individuals linked to the theft, authorities are continuing their efforts to gather more information regarding the incident. The thorough investigation aims to uncover all aspects of the crime and bring any additional perpetrators to justice.
