The leaders emphasized the need to bolster ties between Bharat and Belgium, particularly in areas such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, and green hydrogen. Belgium expressed its intent to further strengthen commercial relations by dispatching a royal trade mission to India.
During their dialogue, PM De Croo and PM Modi underscored their commitment to advancing the India-EU Partnership under Belgium’s Presidency. Discussions extended to regional and global developments, with a shared resolve to enhance cooperation in restoring peace and security in conflict-ridden regions such as West Asia and the Russia-Ukraine conflict zone.
