US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said, ‘The partnership between Bharat and the United States has reached a new height with partnership on technology and other fields’.
Sullivan said at a White House News Conference, ‘The partnership between the US and Bharat, a country in BRICs, has gone to new heights with partnership across technology and security and many other segments’.
Sullivan was answering questions on the decrease in American leadership in the world, in light of Iran, Egypt, UAE, and Ethiopia joining BRICS, and Saudi Arabia deliberating over becoming part of it.
Sullivan said, ‘I think if you look at the role of the US and standing in its relationships across the key regions of the world, we feel very good about where we are’.
‘We have made NATO larger than ever, if you look at what’s happening this week, a historic trilateral with the US, Japan, and the Philippines. If you also look across the Indo-Pacific at how we’ve enhanced our relations not just with traditional allies, but with the likes of Vietnam, Indonesia, ASEAN as a whole, said Sullivan.
The NSA further added that next month the president will welcome the president of Kenya for a state visit here which will be a historic moment. He has hosted all of the leaders of the Pacific Islands and leaders of Africa at a summit in the United States. The United States has increased its investments in the infrastructure, physical, digital, and energy infrastructure in the Americas, in Africa and Southeast Asia and beyond.
