Devotees visiting the Shri Ramlala temple in Ayodhya will now have the opportunity to have darshan of Lord Ram until 11 pm on Ram Navami, according to an official announcement. Champat Rai, the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra, disclosed that during the Shri Ram Navami Mahotsav, darshan will commence from 3:30 am in the Brahma Muhurta, after Mangala Aarti, Abhishek, and Shringar rituals. The Shringar Aarti will be held at 5:00 am, and darshan of Shri Ramlala, along with all worship rituals, will continue simultaneously.
The temple administration will briefly draw the curtain at intervals to offer bhog (food offering) to the Lord. The sequence of darshan will persist as usual until 11:00 pm, following which bhog and shayan aarti (nighttime ritual) will be conducted accordingly. Additionally, prasad will be available for devotees at the temple exit after the shayan aarti on Ram Navami.
Visitors are advised to keep their mobile phones, shoes, slippers, large bags, and prohibited items safely away from the temple premises. Furthermore, it has been communicated that from April 16 to April 19, various passes such as Sugam Darshan Pass, VIP Darshan Pass, Mangala Aarti Pass, Shringar Aarti Pass, and Shayan Aarti Pass will not be issued.
To enhance the devotees’ experience, a Yatri Seva Kendra has been established by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra at the entrance of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, providing public facilities. Moreover, live telecasts of all temple events will be displayed on LED screens installed at approximately 80 to 100 locations within the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation area, facilitated by Prasar Bharati on behalf of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra.
Nripendra Mishra, chairman of the Ram Mandir Nirman Samiti, revealed that on Ram Navami, the sun rays will fall on Lord Ramlala’s forehead for about 5 minutes at 12:16 pm. To commemorate this significant moment, elaborate technical arrangements are underway, with scientists working to present these supernatural occurrences with grandeur. Mishra also assured that the remaining construction work of the temple will be completed by December 2024.
The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Shri Ram Lalla at the temple took place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the rituals alongside a group of priests.
