While elections are underway across 21 states and Union territories, unfortunate news has come from Chhattisgarh where a CRPF officer was martyred in an IED blast in the Maoist-hit Bastar Lok Sabha constituency Today. The officer, an assistant commandant of the CRPF, was posted near the Chihka polling booth under Bhairamgarh police station limits.
