Continuing his critique, Modi targeted the INDIA bloc’s stance on the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), alleging that they intend to revoke it if they come to power. He questioned the feasibility of their governance, especially considering their inability to secure significant Lok Sabha seats.
He also condemned their purported advocacy for separatist sentiments in regions like Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, stating it contradicts the ethos of figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
In his address, Modi accused the Congress and INDIA bloc of pursuing agendas detrimental to national interests, including alleged plans to reinstate Article 370 in Kashmir. He later framed their approach as driven by opportunism and financial gain, contrasting it with the NDA’s focus on development and empowerment, particularly of youth and women.

Highlighting specific policy proposals, Modi criticized the Congress’ purported intention to implement its “Karnataka Model” of reservation nationwide, citing the example of granting OBC status to all Muslims in Karnataka.
He also lambasted proposals such as an inheritance tax on ancestral property, attributing them to the Congress’ agenda of wealth redistribution.
Modi highlighted the electoral arrangement between the BJP-NDA and its allies, including Shiv Sena (UBT), Congress, and the Nationalist Congress Party (SP), detailing the distribution of contested seats.
He later on reminded the audience of the upcoming state elections, scheduled in five phases from April 19 to May 20, with vote counting slated for June 4.
