On Wednesday Actor Rupali Ganguly joined the BJP at the party headquarters in Delhi, ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At the event party leaders Vinod Tawde and Anil Baluni were also present.
‘When I see this Mahayagya of development, I feel that I should also take part in this’, said the actor while addressing the media post joining the party. She added, ‘I need your blessings and support so that whatever I do, I do it right and good’.
After joining the BJP, the actor, along with astrologer Ameya Joshi, met party president JP Nadda, in Delhi. In March 2024, the actress met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she revealed on her Instagram handle.
The actor wrote on her Instagram handle, ‘Last Week was special for reasons beyond words and 8th March 2024 will go down as one of the most memorable and cherished days of my life! A day I will not stop reliving in my mind and feel euphoric about’.
‘It was the day my dream came true that of meeting our Honourable PM Shri Narendra Modiji’, she said. Actors Kangana Ranaut, six-time Madhya Pradesh MLA Ramniwas Rawat, and Priyanka Gandhi’s close aide Tajinder Bittu were some others who joined the BJP this year.
