The resignation came after Pitroda, widely known for mentoring Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, left the old, but not-so-grand party in embarrassment, landing them in severe trouble, as he targeted the citizens, dividing them based on caste, creed, and color. Pertinently, it is even bigger trouble as the racial remarks come amidst the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, where Congress, along with the INDI Alliance, is seeking to gain its long-lost power.
