Prime Minister Narendra Modi claimed that the Opposition plans to close over 50 crore Jan Dhan bank accounts opened during his tenure. He made these remarks at a poll rally in Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh.

Modi also warned that if the Opposition comes to power, they would undo his efforts to provide electricity to every village. He suggested that they would cut off electricity connections, plunging villages back into darkness.

The Prime Minister emphasized that his administration has worked hard to ensure that every home has access to water, and he implied that the Opposition would disrupt these services as well.
Continuing his criticism, Modi alleged that the SP-Congress coalition would take away houses allocated to the poor. He mentioned that his government has provided 4 crore houses to the underprivileged and claimed that the Opposition would repossess these homes and redistribute them to their own supporters.
This accusation was part of his broader narrative that the Opposition would reverse the progress made under his leadership.
Modi raised concerns about national security, suggesting that if the Congress wins the upcoming elections, they would be lenient towards terrorists. He claimed that jailed terrorists would be treated to luxuries like biryani at the Prime Minister’s house, implying a soft stance on terrorism by the Opposition.

In a dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Modi referred to them as a “pair of two boys” being relaunched in the Uttar Pradesh elections. He criticized them for repeating old promises and dialogues without offering anything new or substantial regarding development.
Modi questioned their motives, asking why they were seeking votes when they had no fresh ideas to present.
Modi also addressed viral videos showing large crowds at a joint rally held by Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav. He claimed that people rushed towards the stage because they were promised money to attend the rally but were not paid. Modi suggested that this indicated the disorganization and unreliability of the Opposition, questioning their ability to govern effectively.
