Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday visited Ahmedabad in Gujarat for the e-inauguration of 30 smart schools developed by the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) in Naranpura and said the work of converting all the schools into smart schools is almost complete.
Addressing the public, Shah said, “The work of converting all the schools into smart schools is now almost complete. For the 10 schools that are remaining, I assure you that they will also become smart schools”.
Talking about the education of the students in municipal schools, he added further, “449 municipal schools and 1,70,000 students are getting primary education in Gujarati, Hindi, English and Urdu mediums”.
The inauguration also saw the participation of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. Patel took to his official X handle and posted about the inauguration of the schools.
In a post on X, he said, “Today was a day of education revolution for the children of many poor and middle-class families of Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Constituency. Union Minister of Home Affairs and Co-operation Amit Shah through the Nagar Primary Education Committee of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation launched 30 smart schools built at a cost of Rs 36 crores.”
Talking about the different facilities, Patel said, “These schools have facilities like future classrooms equipped with laptops, modern science-maths labs, 3D wallpapers and 3D paintings, through which children will benefit from high-quality education and skill development through modern technology.”
