The judicial custody of Manish Sisodia, the former deputy chief minister of Delhi, has been extended until July 15 by a city court. This decision is related to the ongoing excise policy case.
Manish Sisodia has been in custody since February 26, 2023, after being arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). In addition to the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also arrested him in connection with the case.
Following his arrest, Sisodia resigned from his position in the Delhi cabinet on February 28, 2023.
