In a dazzling celebration of love and tradition, Anant Ambani, the youngest son of billionaire Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of industrialist Viren Merchant, were married in a grand ceremony at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre on Friday.
Dubbed the ‘wedding of the decade,’ the event was a stunning blend of opulence, cultural heritage, and star-studded glamour. The guest list boasted an array of global icons, Bollywood luminaries, and political dignitaries. US television stars Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian, Nigerian rapper Rema, former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and top business magnates like Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser, Samsung Electronics chairman Jay Lee, and GSK plc chief executive Emma Walmsley were among the illustrious attendees.

Bollywood’s brightest stars graced the occasion, including Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Tiger Shroff, and Varun Dhawan, many accompanied by their families. Southern film legends Rajinikanth, Ram Charan, and Mahesh Babu added to the star power. The cricketing world was well-represented with legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, alongside former great Krish Srikkanth and current stars Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, and Suryakumar Yadav.
The celebration continues with three subsequent events: ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13, ‘Mangal Utsav’ (the wedding reception) on July 14, and another reception party on July 15, all set in Mumbai.
The festivities began with an intimate puja ceremony at the Ambani residence, Antilia, on June 29. This was followed by a series of pre-wedding rituals, including the ‘mameru’ ceremony, sangeet, haldi, and mehendi.
Anant and Radhika also hosted two extravagant pre-wedding parties: a luxurious cruise party from Italy to France from May 29 to June 1, and a grand pre-wedding gala in Jamnagar in March, which saw the attendance of 1,000 guests, including celebrities, sportspersons, and industrialists.
