Three Muslim men kidnapped and gang-raped a nine-year-old Hindu girl in the Dhing area of the Nagaon district of Assam. The country is protesting an emotional outburst against the rae and murder case in Kolkata, and on August 22 evening, an Assamese girl was reported to have been raped by three Muslim men.

Thousand of people are protesting on the streets and demanding justice for the victim. The young girl was raped in Dhing while she was walking home after tuition, according to the media reports.

The attackers left her stunned in the woods after committing the crime. She laid there for an hour without any clothes on. Junaidul Islam and Tafazzul Islam are arrested by the police in connection with the gang rape. There is still no sign of the third suspect.

On Thursday night, the crime was made public when the villagers found the gangrape victim, who had been tossed by her attacker. The local police were notified when residents saw her lying in the woods. The Police found her and took her straight to Dhing FRU. She was quickly directed to Nagaon Medical.

Tensions are very high in Dhing town after the horrible rape of the young girl in the Nagaon district of Assam. Paramilitary and police personnel have been sent in to tighten security. Earlier in Dhing area, an Islamist spray gang raped many women and robbed several residences, setting off sensational episodes across Assam.

The event unfolded late on July 24 when the gang raped a 60-year-old widow and devastated her home.
