On Wednesday Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked the Congress over reservation and corruption in an election rally held in Gohana, Sonipat. He said that hatred towards reservation is in the DNA of Congress, the people of Haryana will have to be cautious of the anti-reservation strategy of the Congress.
The Prime Minister emphasized that every Prime Minister coming from the Congress royal family has consistently opposed reservation. He emphasized that opposition to reservation is embedded in the DNA of Congress. He warned the people that even the fourth generation of the Congress royal family is now advocating the abolition of reservation.
He urged the citizens to be cautious of the anti-reservation tactics of the Congress. PM Modi said, ‘Whoever became the Prime Minister from the royal family of Congress has always opposed reservation. Opposition to reservation, hatred for reservation, is in the DNA of Congress.”
Prime Minister Modi said that the Congress has always deprived SC, ST and OBC of participation. He said that Dalits were given reservation because of Baba Saheb Ambedkar, otherwise Dalits would have to wait for the defeat of Congress for reservation. Whenever Congress has been in power, it has snatched the rights of Dalits and backward classes.
He said that Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar believed that industries play a big role in empowering Dalits. He said that Ambedkar understood the plight of poor and Dalit communities and recognized the importance of factories in creating opportunities for them. That is why Baba Saheb used to say that when factories are set up, the poor, Dalits and the deprived get opportunities.
PM Modi said, ‘You will see the same thinking of Baba Saheb in the policy decisions of BJP, in the thoughts of BJP. True empowerment is possible only by giving opportunities to Dalit and deprived society in industries’.
Prime Minister Modi proudly told that he has just returned from America, where he met global leaders and CEOs of companies worth lakhs of crores of rupees. He spoke about India’s young talent and stressed that global trust in India has grown significantly in the last decade. The world now considers India a country free from corruption and nepotism and rapidly progressing.
