Haryana Assembly Elections 2024: 49.13% Voter Turnout Recorded As Of 3PM In Haryana

The festival of democracy is being celebrated with great pomp in Haryana as voters are standing in queues to cast their votes. The voting process is going on continuously as a total of 1031 candidates are in the fray in 90 assembly constituencies of the state. Among them, 464 independent candidates are also contesting.

49.13% voting has been done till 3 pm 36.69 % voting has been done till 1 PM, 22.70% voting has been done till 11 am and 9.53% voting took place in Haryana Assembly elections till 9 AM. Palwal recorded the highest voting percentage of 27.94%, followed by Jind with 27.20% and Mewat with 25.65%. Panchkula recorded the lowest voting percentage of 13.46%. The festival of democracy is being celebrated with great pomp in Haryana as voters are standing in queues to cast their votes. The voting process is going on continuously as a total of 1031 candidates are in the fray in 90 assembly constituencies of the state. Among them, 464 independent candidates are also contesting.

The main candidates whose fate will be sealed in the EVM today include former Chief Minister Nayab Saini, Bhupendra Singh Hooda, former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, wrestler Vinesh Phogat, apart from India’s richest woman Savitri Jindal. In this election, there is a contest between BJP, Congress, JJP, INLD and BSP. There is an alliance of INLD-BSP and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) with Azad Samaj Party and Aam Aadmi Party is in the electoral fray on its own.

9.53% voting took place in Haryana Assembly elections till 9 AM. According to the Election Commission, after the voting started at 7 am, till 9 am, 11.87 percent voting was done in Ambala district, 9.72 percent in Bhiwani district, 9.8 percent in Charkhi-Dadri, 8.82 percent in Faridabad, 11.81 percent in Fatehabad, 6.10 percent in Gurugram, 8.49 percent in Hisar, 8.43 percent in Jhajjar, 12.71 percent in Jind, 9.54 percent in Kaithal, 11.10 percent in Karnal, 10.57 percent in Kurukshetra, 11.51 percent in Mahendragarh, 10.64 percent in Mewat, 12.54 percent in Palwal, 4.08 percent in Panchkula, 7.49 percent in Panipat, 9.27 percent in Rewari, 10.76 percent in Rohtak, 9.87 percent in Sirsa, 7.98 percent in Sonipat and 9.27 percent in Yamunanagar district.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the voters of Haryana to set a new record of voting in the assembly elections. Prime Minister Modi has posted on the social media platform X and said that voting is taking place today for the Haryana assembly elections. I appeal to all the voters to be a part of this holy festival of democracy and set a new record of voting. On this occasion, my special wishes to all the young friends of the state who are going to vote for the first time.
