A bus collided with a trolley moving ahead on Wednesday morning in Kanwarpura area of Kotputli on Jaipur-Delhi National Highway. Three people including the bus driver died on the spot in the accident, including two women.
According to the media reports, the sleeper bus was going from Ajmer to Delhi in which the passengers were traveling to attend the satsang. According to Kotputli police station officer Rajesh Sharma, the bus collided with the trolley moving ahead. After the incident, all the injured passengers of the bus were admitted to the Government BDM District Hospital, from where 17 seriously injured passengers have been referred to Jaipur.
The deceased have been identified as Maya, a resident of Alwar, Sunita Sahu, a resident of Beawar and the driver of the bus, Vishal Sharma, a resident of Jaipur. Collector Kalpana Agarwal said that most of the passengers in the bus were from around Ajmer.
Three-four buses had left together for the satsang, out of which one bus crashed. After the accident, the driver of the trolley fled from the spot, due to which the police have blocked the spot. The collector and other administrative officials reached the spot and the hospital, where they enquired about the condition of the injured. Many of the injured are above 60 years of age.
They are seriously injured and the incident has shocked everyone and the administration has started efforts to catch the trolley driver as soon as possible. Among the injured, 17 including Ajmer resident Divyanshu, Sushila (55), Jethalal, Udaram (55), Madhu Chaudhary (65), Komal Khiladi (60) have been referred to Jaipur. The injured included Ajmer residents Devi Das Lalwani (56), Gyan Devi (40), Sukhi Devi (40), Ramesh (59), Shankar Lal (60), Ajit Mulani, Dariyav Kaur (60), Madhu Sindhi (62), Surendra (24), Sunita Sharma (31), Renu Sindhi (62), Pramila (40), Veer Singh (68), Sharda Maurya (46), Anisha (18), Meera Devi (55), Manju (61), Neetu Bhati (41), Shivji (41), Ram Singh (50), Narayan (59), Kashish (45), Rajendra Singh Rathore (58), Beawar residents Navratmal (57), Prithviraj (73), Uttamchand (62), Ganpat Lal (54), Ishwar Chandra (40), Varun (20), Ajmer resident Jagdish (53), Nasirabad resident Heera Singh (50), Mokhampura resident Heera Kumar (36), Bhilwara resident Rajendra Kumar (36), Kundan Mal Khatik (50), Manna Devi (55), Prahlad Acharya (63), Nivedita (22), Raveena (45), Mohanlal (45), Bherulal (66), a resident of Bagor in Bhilwara.
