Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 18th Asia Pacific German Business Conference in New Delhi on Friday. During this, PM Modi said that there is no better place than India for investment. Inviting foreign investors, he said that this is the right time to join India’s development story.
The Prime Minister said that today India stands on four strong pillars of democracy, demography, demand and data. Talent, technology, innovation and infrastructure are the tools of India’s development. To take all these forward, India has the dual power of Aspirational India (AI) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
PM Modi said that India is working on the needs of the future world. He said that today India is becoming the largest center of diversification and risk-free. India is becoming a global trade and manufacturing center. India is making record investments in roads and ports and the Indo-Pacific region is very important for the future of the world. In such a situation, this is the ‘right’ time for foreign investors to participate in India’s development story, join the ‘Make in India’ initiative and ‘Make for the World’.

Prime Minister Modi said that when India’s dynamism and Germany’s precision meet, when Germany’s engineering and India’s innovation meet and when Germany’s technology and India’s talent meet, then it ensures a better future for the world including the Indo-Pacific.
He said that all of you are connected to the business world and your priority is business but coming to India is not just business. If you do not give time to India’s culture, food and shopping, then you will miss out on many things. Expressing happiness over the decision to increase the number of visas for skilled Indian employees in Germany from 20 thousand to 90 thousand, Prime Minister Modi said that the trust that Germany has shown on India’s skilled manpower is amazing.
Expressing confidence, he said that this will give new impetus to Germany’s development. The Prime Minister said that the objective of this decision is to meet Germany’s demand for skilled workers and strengthen economic cooperation with India. As a result, employment opportunities for Indian professionals will increase in Germany, which will strengthen economic relations between the two countries.

Describing today as a special day, Prime Minister Modi said that his friend Chancellor Scholz has come to India for the fourth time. This shows his focus on India-Germany relations. He said that after 12 years, the Asia-Pacific German Business Conference is being organized in India. On one hand, the CEO Forum is meeting here, on the other hand our navies are practicing together. The seventh intergovernmental consultation between India and Germany is also going to be held shortly. India-Germany relations are getting stronger at every level.
He said that this is the 25th year of India-Germany political partnership. Now the coming 25 years are going to give this partnership new heights. We have made a road map for a developed India in the coming 25 years. The Prime Minister said that he is happy that at this important time the German Cabinet has released the ‘Focus on India’ document.
