Six Naxalites Surrenders In Sukma, Chhattisgarh A Reward Of Rs 24 lakh Announced

The effect of the continuous action being taken against Naxalites in Chhattisgarh is visible. On Friday, 6 Naxalites including a Naxal couple surrendered before police and CRPF officials in Sukma district. A total reward of 24 lakhs was announced on all of them.

Out of these, 10 lakhs was announced on the Naxal couple, 5 lakhs each on a woman and a male Naxalite and 2 lakhs each on two male Naxalites. Earlier, they were involved in many Naxalite incidents. Influenced by the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” and “Niyad Nella Nar” scheme of the Chhattisgarh Government and the increasing influence of the police by continuously setting up new security camps in the interior areas, they decided to surrender.

Among the surrendered Naxalites was female Naxalite Kamala alias Bandi Dudhi, father late. Dudhhi Kosa (husband Pawan alias Kamalu Hemla) (Silger LOS Commander, ACM reward of Rs. 5 lakh) 35 years, resident of Pamlur Police Station Kistaram District Sukma, Pawan alias Kamalu Hemla father Sukku (South Sub Zonal Bureau Press Team Laptop Operator (ACM) reward of Rs. 5 lakh) 27 years, resident of Saavanar Mookapara Police Station Gangaluur District Bijapur, Bandu alias Bandi Sodi father late. Mangadu (South Sub Zonal Bureau Coordination Dalam, ACM reward of Rs. 5 lakhs) 27 years resident of Aamapenta Police Station Kistaram District Sukma, woman Madvi Nagul Sushila father Madvi Baburao (Kistaram LOS Deputy Commander, ACM reward of Rs. 5 lakhs) 26 years resident of village Badekewal Police Station Chitangupha District Sukma, Kunjam Roshan alias Mahadev father Joga (party member of platoon number 04, reward of Rs. 2 lakhs) 18 years, resident of Bhandarpadar Police Station Bhejji District Sukma and Dashru alias Kotesh Sodi father Laccha (guard of former CCM Sudarshan alias Dula Dada, Pamed Area Committee Party member, reward of Rs. 2 lakhs) 28 years resident of Burklanka Police Station Kistaram District Sukma are included.

With the aim of leaving the Naxal organization and joining the mainstream of society, they surrendered in front of DIG CRPF Range Sukma Anand Singh Rajpurohit, CRPF Range Konta Surajpal Singh Verma, Sukma SP Kiran Chavan, CRPF 212 Battalion Commandant Deepak Kumar Srivastava, CRPF 219 Battalion Second Command Officer Karmveer Singh Yadav, Sukma ASP Abhishek Verma, ASP Naxal Ops Manish Ratre, CRPF Assistant 2 Battalion Commandant Rakesh Kumar Thakur at the Superintendent of Police office Sukma on Friday. CRPF and District Police, DRG Sukma team played an important role in the surrender.

All the surrendered Naxalites were given an incentive amount of Rs 25,000 each and clothes under the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy”.
