A statement of the newly appointed chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board, B R Naidu has come out. He said that all the people working in the premises of Tirumala temple should be Hindus.
He said while talking to the reporters that I will talk to the state government about what should be done for other employees. He said that everyone should have utmost respect and devotion towards Lord Venkateshwara in Tirumala temple.
It was clarified from his side that this issue should be taken seriously. Regarding his appointment, he thanked the Chief Minister of the state Chandrababu Naidu and said that it is a matter of pride for him. He said that he will take the responsibility of leading the TTD board seriously.
The newly appointed chairman of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board, B R Naidu also accused the previous state government. He said that many irregularities took place in the temple. He also stressed on maintaining the sanctity of the temple.
There was a controversy regarding the laddus distributed as prasad in Tirupati temple. CM Naidu had accused the previous government of using adulterated ghee for the laddus made as prasad in the temple.
