Ten people died and five were injured in a collision between a DCM and an auto near village Roshanpur in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday. Among those who lost their lives are 5 women, 2 girls, 1 child and 2 men.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the road accident. At the same time, instructions have been given to the concerned officials for proper treatment of the injured.
Along with this, he has also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Superintendent of Police Neeraj Kumar Jadoun said that near Roshanpur village, a DCM coming from the front collided with an auto. In this accident, the auto went out of control and overturned, seven passengers riding in it died on the spot, while eight people were seriously injured.
After some time, three injured died in the Community Health Center located in Bilgram. Five other seriously injured people are being provided better treatment. On getting information about the incident, the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and other officials left for the spot from the district headquarters. After the incident, the DCM driver and helper fled. The dead are being identified.
