On Friday morning, the four-day Chhath festival of faith concluded with joy and traditional way with offering of Arghya to the rising Sun. On this occasion, wishes were made to Lord Bhaskar and Chhathi Maiya for good health, peace, prosperity and harmony. On the other hand, devotees in different areas of Delhi-NCR offered Arghya to the rising Sun on Friday.
People started gathering on the Ghats at dawn and many ghats were shining in the light of diyas. People offered Arghya to Lord Sun and after this the fast ended and Thekua Prasad was distributed. Chhath Mahaparva was concluded with great pomp at many places along with different societies of Greater Faridabad. A big event was organized by Bhojpuri Awadh Samaj in NIT along with RPS Savana Society.
On Friday morning, devotees reached Baranandi Ghat in Sahibabad and concluded this Mahaparva by performing Puja. Devotees also reached Harnandi and Hindon rivers in Sahibabad and offered Arghya to the rising Sun. Devotees offered prayers to the rising Sun at the ghat in Sector 71, Noida and concluded this great festival. Puja was performed at the Chhath Ghat on the banks of Yamuna at ITO.
Devotees offered prayers to the Sun God at the ghat built in Noida Stadium located at Sector 21A. There was a huge crowd of devotees at the Chhath Ghat in Mandavali on Friday. Devotees concluded the Chhath Mahaparva by offering prayers to the Sun at Hindon Chhath Ghat as well. Devotees also offered prayers to the rising Sun God and Chhathi Maiya in Sector 1 Rewari.
During this, bhajans were played and fireworks were also seen. Devotees ended the fast by offering prayers to the rising Sun God at Nai Anaj Mandi Rewari. Devotees also offered prayers to the rising Sun in Greater Noida West Gaur City. Devotees offered prayers to the rising Sun God at the Chhath Ghat located in Sector 5, Gurugram and concluded the great festival.
A huge crowd of devotees was seen at the Chhath Ghat built near Ek Murti roundabout in Greater Noida West. Chhath Puja was banned in Yamuna in Delhi.
