Bhoomipujan Ceremony Held For RSS ‘Prant Karyalaya Kharavel Nilaya’ At Odisha

The Bhoomipujan ceremony for ‘Kharavel Nilaya,’ organised by the Samskriti Suraksha Samiti in Bhubaneswar, took place recently. The ceremony featured rituals including Homa Yajna, Vedic chanting, and mantra recitations, attended by several senior RSS functionaries, swayamsevaks, and sadhus from across Odisha. The Bhoomipujan ceremony was graced by esteemed Sadhus such as Swami Pranaroopananda Saraswati, Swami Mahamandaleshwar Shankarananda Giri, Swami Trailokyeshwar Bharati.

Swami Brahmachari Vishesh Chaitanya, Baba Ramesh Das, and Swami Vishnugiri Maharaj. Prominent RSS dignitaries in attendance included Dr. Gopal Prasad Mahapatra, Akhil Bharatiya Sadhbhavana Pramukh; Sunil Pad Goswami, Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini sadasya; Jagadish Prasad Khadanga, Sah Kshetra Pracharak; Vidyut Chakravarty, Kshetra Sampark Pramukh; Samir Kumar Mohanty, Prant Sanghchalak of Odisha Poorva Prant; Bipin Prasad Nanda, Prant Pracharak; Asit Kumar Sahu, Sah Prant Pracharak, Engineer Sudarshan Das, Sahprant Karyavah; Manoranjan Patra, Prant Vyavastha Pramukh; Tanmaya Mahapatra, Prant Bauddhik Pramukh; Sarbeshwar Behera, Prant Sampark Pramukh; Dr. Basant Pati, Sahprant Sampark Pramukh; and Srishtidhar Vishwal, Prachar Pramukhs of the two Prants, Jagadish Pattnaik and Saroj Mitra, as well as numerous other dignitaries and swayamsevaks from across the state.

Odisha’s Deputy Chief Ministers, Prabhati Parida and Shri Kanak Vardhan Singhdeo, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, MPs Ananta Nayak and Sukanta Panigrahi, along with several MLAs, also attended the Bhoomipujan ceremony.

During the occasion, Samir Kumar Mohanty, RSS Odisha Poorva Prant Sanghchalak, expressed that the construction of a Prant Karyalaya in Bhubaneswar had been a long-cherished dream of all swayamsevaks, which is now coming to fruition. He emphasised that the karyalaya would be built with the devotion, hard work, and financial contributions of the swayamsevaks.

Dr Gopal Prasad Mahapatra, in his address, highlighted that RSS work in Odisha commenced under extremely challenging circumstances. He noted that discussions with veteran workers could reveal how they overcame various adversities to fulfil their duties. Initially, there was no support for the organisation’s activities.
