The controversy that started over the presence of Shri Hari Mandir in Jama Masjid in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh has now come in the news of the whole country as following getting approval for the survey from the court, the survey of this mosque has been started.
During this, a large number of security forces have been deployed to maintain peace. About the Jama Masjid of Sambhal, the Hindu side claims that earlier there used to be Harihar temple here, which was one of the important centers of faith of Hinduism, later some part of it was demolished and a mosque was built here. At the same time, the Muslim side claims that this is their historical mosque, which is one of the oldest buildings in the area.
This matter was presented in Chandausi Civil Court by Supreme Court lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain. After hearing both the parties, the court has appointed an advocate commission for the survey. As per the court’s order, the advocate commission did videography and photography of the inner parts of the mosque. The Hindu side says that this mosque has been built on top of the temple, so some remains of the temple can be found there.
On this basis, the court has ordered a survey. The Sambhal administration is on high alert regarding this, due to which RRF jawans have been deployed at the main gates of the mosque and police forces have been deployed by barricading the roads. PAC has also been deployed to maintain peace in sensitive areas. At the same time, the administration is also keeping an eye on places like social media.
In such a situation, preparations have been made to take strict action against the anarchic elements spreading rumors. On this matter, Advocate Vishnushankar Jain said that Harihar Temple is one of the main centers of our faith. According to popular religious beliefs, this is the birthplace of Kalki, in the coming times Kalki avatar will be here. This mosque was built by Babar in 1529, then the mosque was built here by demolishing the temple present here. In such a situation, a survey is necessary, after this the whole truth will come out. This place is protected by ASI due to being historical, on which no one can claim ownership.
