New Delhi, 30 December (HS): Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is ready for the launch of SpaceX mission. Space Docking Experiment (Spadex) will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center (SDSC) in Sriharikota on Monday night at 9:58 pm. After the success of this mission, India will join the special club of USA, Russia and China asonly these countries have the capability to dock (join) and undock (separate) two spacecraft or satellites in outer space.
ISRO is fully prepared for its last mission of the year. In this mission, two spacecraft traveling ten times faster than the speed of a bullet in space will be joined, which is called docking. Docking in space is needed when multiple rockets need to be launched to achieve common mission objectives.
SpadeX will be launched from Sriharikota by PSLV-C60 rocket. India’s Chandrayaan-4 mission depends on the success of this mission, in which samples of moon soil will be brought to Earth. Its success will prove to be important for the Indian Space Center and human space flights.
