New Delhi, 3 January (H.S.): Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed his disappointment on Friday over the fact that some people with a colonial mindset dismiss the Sanatan texts and Hinduism as regressive. He stated that these terms often evoke a negative and baffling reaction from people who are misguided and lack a deep understanding of their true meaning.
Dhankhar also highlighted the dangers of a toxic ecosystem that fuels this misguided reaction towards Sanatan and Hinduism.
He made these remarks while addressing the International Congress of Vedanta at JNU, stating that it is ironic and painful to see that these references, which hold great spiritual significance, are met with such disbelief and misunderstanding in our own country.
