New Delhi, 8 January (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a two-day tour of Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, beginning on Wednesday. This visit is aimed at promoting sustainable development, industrial growth, and infrastructure enhancement in the region.
PM Modi will dedicate, inaugurate, and lay the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 2 lakh crore in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday evening. The following day, he will inaugurate the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention in Bhubaneswar. Additionally, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the country’s first Green Hydrogen Hub at Pudimadaka near Visakhapatnam, which will contribute significantly to India’s non-fossil energy capacity target of 500 GW by 2030. The project, with an investment of nearly Rs 1,85,000 crore, will also generate employment opportunities and focus on export markets.
In Andhra Pradesh, PM Modi will dedicate, lay the foundation stone, and inaugurate various railway and road projects worth over Rs 19,500 crore. These projects will improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and foster regional social and economic growth.
Furthermore, the Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone for the Bulk Drug Park at Nakkapalli in Anakapalli district, which will not only create employment opportunities but also contribute to accessible and affordable healthcare in the region.
