Singapore, 10 January (H.S.): Three books have been launched at the National University of Singapore to commemorate Vishwa Hindi Diwas, also known as World Hindi Day.
These books feature stories and poems in Hindi that are related to the island city state and were released by India’s Deputy High Commissioner to Singapore, Pooja Tillu.
The event, which lasted for three hours, was a collaboration between the High Commission of India, NUS, Singapore Sangam Hindi Association, and publisher Vani Prakashan Group (VPG) from India. The release of these books aims to promote the Hindi language and its usage globally.
