Imphal, 24 January (HS): Manipur Police arrested an active rebel of the banned KYKL outfit group while taking action in the Langol Type-III area of Imphal West district under Lamphel police station area. The accused has been identified as Maibam Bronson Singh alias Thambu alias Ngamba (24), who was involved in illegal extortion from the general public and shops.
A mobile handset and SIM card, a driving license and a two-wheeler were recovered from the arrested accused.
The police have registered a case against the accused and started further investigation.
