New Delhi, 28 January (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has an intense program in two states of the country today. He will visit Odisha and Uttarakhand. At around 11 am, he will inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave-2025 at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. After this, he will reach the capital of Uttarakhand, Dehradun in the evening. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games in Dehradun at around 6 pm. Information about the Prime Minister’s visit was given by the Press and Information Bureau (PIB) of the Government of India in a release issued on Monday. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has also shared the program of Prime Minister Modi in its X handle.
The purpose of the Global Investment Summit
According to the PIB release, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar. This flagship Global Investment Summit of the Odisha government aims to establish the state as the centre of the Purvodaya vision as well as a major investment destination and industrial hub in India.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate the Make in Odisha exhibition. The two-day conference will conclude on January 29. It will serve as a platform for industry leaders, investors and policy makers. The conference will have CEO and leader roundtables, regional sessions, B2B meetings and policy discussions, ensuring targeted engagement with investors from across the world.
Uttarakhand’s Silver Jubilee Year
According to the Press and Information Office of the Government of India, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the 38th National Games in Dehradun.
Uttarakhand is hosting it to commemorate its Silver Jubilee Year and it will be organized in 11 cities of eight districts of Uttarakhand from January 28 to February 14. 36 states and one union territory will participate in the National Games. Competitions in 35 sports will be organized in this 17-day game. Of these, medals will be given in 33 sports, while two sports will be exhibition sports. Yoga and Mallakhamb have been included in the National Games for the first time. More than 10,000 athletes from across the country will participate in this event. The theme of the National Games this year is “Green Games”.
A special park called Sports Forest will be developed near the venue, where more than 10,000 plants will be planted by athletes and guests. The medals and certificates given to the athletes will be made from eco-friendly and biodegradable materials.
