At the latest, the RSS office has returned to Keshav Kunj in Jhandewalan. It is spread over a campus of over 3.75 acres. It was completed after 8 years. It has 3 towers of 13 floors each and a total of around 300 rooms and offices.
These buildings have been named ‘Sadhna’, ‘Prerna’ and ‘Archana’. It will have fixed rooms for the Sarsanghchalak and Sarkaryavah. It also has solar power facilities to meet a part of its total power requirements. It has modern auditoriums as well as a hospital and canteen. It also has a library which is Keshav Pustakalaya. The library built here has more than 8500 books and its construction took a period of eight years in which the cost of Rs 150 crore was incurred, this cost was raised by the contribution of more than 75,000 people associated with Hindutva ideology, which people have contributed from Rs 5 to lakhs.
This project was going on for more than eight years, which was delayed due to the Covid-19 epidemic. New construction started in 2018 and this building is decorated with traditional Rajasthan, Gujarat architecture, 1000 granite frames have been used in it. The building also has a library and health clinic.
The main auditorium has been built in memory of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Ashok Singhal, who was one of the main supporters of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. It can accommodate 463 people, while the other hall can accommodate 650 members. The poor people of the area will be able to get treatment in this hospital and outsiders will also be able to use the library.
The campus has a parking capacity of 135 cars, which can be increased to 270 vehicles, ensuring smooth movement for visitors and officials. More than a thousand door frames in the building have been made from granite, saving wood. In the open ground at the rear of the campus, a life-size statue of the Sangh’s founder Sarsanghchalak Dr. Keshav Rao Baliram Hedgewar has been installed, in front of which regular shakhas will be held.
