On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated “Invest MP Global Investor Summit” (GIS) 2025. PM Modi is addressing the gathering for the two-day event. He said the World Bank has expressed confidence that India will continue to be the world’s fastest growing economy in the coming years.
He was speaking following inaugurating the mega ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit-2025’ in Bhopal to highlight the state’s possibilities for investors and industrialists. Bhopal is hosting the “Invest MP Global Investor Summit” (GIS) 2025 on February 24-25.
Bhopal looks more good with streets renovated and adorned with artistic designs, colorful paintings, and stunning decor. Lighting fountains show major squares, while walls showcase Madhya Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage. The iconic Upper Lake features a floating ‘Invest MP GIS’ logo, showing a visual.
Global Participation and Industry Leaders
The summit will welcome entrepreneurs from over 60 countries, 13 ambassadors, six high commissioners, and many consul generals. Significant industry leaders, including Kumar Mangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, Nadir Godrej, Piruz Khambatta, Baba N Kalyani, Rahul Awasthi, and Neeraj Akhoury, are also set to attend.
International Collaboration and Investment Opportunities
Diplomatic representatives from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Malaysia, the UK, Poland, the Netherlands, Canada, Nepal, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Angola, Burkina Faso, Rwanda, Seychelles, Jamaica, Lesotho, and Uganda will participate. The World Bank, led by Country Director Auguste Tano Kouame, and the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) will play crucial roles.
Global Trade Agencies and Investment Roadshows
Key international trade and investment agencies, including JETRO, German Trade & Invest, Invest Ottawa, and agencies from Italy, Canada, Australia (Austrade), and Malaysia (Matrade), have confirmed their participation. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s regional and international investment roadshows have further strengthen global interest in Madhya Pradesh.
GIS 2025: A Catalyst for Economic Growth
The summit focuses to attract investments and strengthen partnerships with the global players, positioning Madhya Pradesh as a major investment destination. GIS 2025 is poised to drive economic growth and development in the state with the convergence of industry leaders, diplomats, and trade organisations.
