The sacred Amarnath Yatra to the holy cave shrine of Baba Barfani will start on July 3, 2025, and conclude on August 9, 2025, coinciding with Shravan Purnima (Raksha Bandhan). This year, the pilgrimage will last 38 days, two days shorter than the 40-day duration of the previous Yatra. As per the officials, the decision, was taken in a meeting called this afternoon at Raj Bhawan today.
