In a significant development, the Indian Railways has introduced a new policy that allows passengers with confirmed tickets to enter 60 major railway stations across the country. The railway aims to reduce overcrowding and improve passengers’ safety, specifically during peak travel times. The new regulation will soon be enforced at prime stations in large cities.
The rule will be implemented initially at the 60 busiest railway stations which are:
New Delhi Railway Station ( Delhi)
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (Mumbai)
Howrah Junction (Kolkata)
Chennai Central (Chennai)
Bengaluru City Railway Station (Bengaluru)
