The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest decision-making body of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), concluded its three-day meeting in Bengaluru on Sunday. The meeting discussed key national issues, including delimitation, language policy, and concerns over attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh.
The RSS maintained a balanced stand on the delimitation process and the three-language formula. Without directly naming the DMK, it criticized forces that create a North-South divide over these issues. The Sangh also clarified that its position does not focus only on Hindi but promotes learning multiple languages for national unity.
On the Aurangzeb controversy, the RSS took a strong stance, calling him an invader who tried to destroy India’s cultural heritage. It also celebrated his brother Dara Shikoh.
The Sangh expressed serious concern over atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and hinted at the role of “international forces” in creating unrest in the region.
RSS Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale also opposed religion-based reservations, stating that they go against the Indian Constitution.
