- Incident follows Zelensky’s claim about Putin’s health.
A luxury car from Russian President Vladimir Putin’s official fleet exploded in central Moscow. The incident, reported by The Sun and Express, has sparked concerns about Putin’s safety and possible internal threats within the Kremlin.
The car was a $357,000 (£275,000) Aurus Senat, a vehicle used by Russia’s political elite. The explosion happened near the FSB headquarters in Lubyanka. Videos showed thick black smoke and flames coming from the car as people ran away. Firefighters worked to control the blaze.
The cause of the explosion is unknown, and no injuries have been reported so far.
This comes days after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claimed that “Vladimir Putin will die soon.” Reports in The Mirror also suggest that the Russian leader’s health is declining, but the Kremlin denies these rumors.
