The State Bank of India (SBI) online banking, UPI, and YONO app were not working on Tuesday. SBI has assured customers that these services will be back soon. In the meantime, users can use debit cards, credit cards, or net banking from other banks.
SBI shared a message on social media saying that these services are temporarily down because of the bank’s Annual Closing activities. This scheduled downtime helps the bank finalize its financial records and get ready for the new financial year.
Customers are advised to plan their transactions for after 16:00 Hrs IST, as some services will be unavailable between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM on April 1, 2025. However, UPI Lite and ATMs will still be available during this time.
