Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has taken a vow in his Sunday address to the people of Ukraine. He has promised that he will wreak ‘wrath’ against Russia and its forces in the year 2024, while acknowledging the attempt to undermine support for Kyiv.
His message came in line with the aerial attacks on Ukraine, that Moscow launched on Friday, killing 39 people in one of the biggest since the war began.
“Next year, the enemy will feel the wrath of domestic production,” Zelenskyy said in a televised address, showcasing clips of Ukrainian artillery and fighter jets.
He added that Ukraine will have a million more drones in its arsenal next year, including the F-16 fighter jets which will be delivered by the partners in the West. Zelenskyy affirmed that ‘Ukranians are stronger’, and that attempts to diminish global solidarity and undermine the coalition of allies will not go unresponded.
