Anupam Kher Finishes Filming 'Chhota Bheem' Live-Action Movie

Renowned actor Anupam Kher has recently concluded shooting for the much-anticipated live-action feature film based on the popular animated character ‘Chhota Bheem’. Taking to Instagram, Kher shared his excitement, posting a series of pictures from the film’s set.

In a heartfelt caption accompanying the photos, Kher expressed gratitude for the beautiful experience and praised the sensational child actors in the film. He thanked director Rajiv Chilaka and the entire team for the joyous ride, highlighting the learning experience from the young cast. The film is titled ‘Chhota Bheem And The Curse of Damyaan’.

The film, announced in Mumbai last year, marks 15 incredible years of the beloved animated series. Anupam Kher takes on the role of Guru Shambhu, with Makarand Deshpande portraying Skandhi. The central character, Chhota Bheem, is played by Yagya Bhasin, and Aashriya Mishra shines as Chutki. Surabhi Tiwari, known for her role in Shagun, will be seen as Tuntun Mausi.

Directed by Rajiv Chilaka and written by Niraj Vikram, the film promises a captivating narrative, accompanied by music composed by Raghav Sachar. Mukesh Chhabra’s skillful casting brings the characters to life, and Junaid Ullah supervises the visual effects, ensuring a visual spectacle.

Rajiv Chilaka, the producer and director, expressed his excitement, stating that ‘Chhota Bheem’ is one of the most beloved characters in the world of animation. He believes that the film will be adored by children and families everywhere.

Upcoming Projects for Anupam Kher

Aside from ‘Chhota Bheem’, Anupam Kher is set to appear in the movie ‘Vijay 69’. Produced under the banner of YRF Entertainment, the film narrates the story of a sexagenarian man, played by Kher, who decides to compete in a triathlon contest at the age of 69. Directed by Akshay Roy, known for ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’, and produced by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Vijay 69’ is expected to offer a unique and inspiring storyline.

Kher also has other projects which includes ‘Emergency’ and ‘Signature’. With a diverse range of roles, Anupam Kher continues to captivate audiences with his versatility and talent in the world of cinema.
